Voice Broadcasting

where people call into a published number and listen to a pre-recorded interactive voice response (IVR) message; or outbound -- where an IVR system will use it's automatic dialer

Outbound voice broadcasting notifications can be used in almost any scenario were an in dividual or organization wants to place a phone call to a
large body of people. This is particularly helpful when the message recipients may be geographically dispersed or may not have convenient access to their
email or the internet. In many applications, the message will allow the call recipient to take any number of further actions. Large companies may use this
to broadcast periodic announcements of special events or circumstances. Alumni organizations may want to place a invitation to past graduates and allow the
call recipient to answers a series of questions.
