Voice Connection's Emergency Response Alerts™ is an innovation software service that blends sophisticated mapping technology, the latest interactive voice response (IVR) software, and complex database solutions to allow emergency management personnel to dynamically create extensive call lists of those to notify with customized messages. This service is much more that just storing emergency call lists. We use shapes (circles, boxes or trapezoids) to dynamically create call areas. (See shaded area on the map in the picture to the right.) Using a sophisticated mapping engine that can zoom in 15 levels, we can isolate call areas down to the street level. A powerful database engine then collects all phone numbers within that call area based on the latest "white pages" phone book records. In a matter of minutes the call list can be dynamically generated. A customized message can be recorded by calling a 1-800 phone number and recording the appropriate alert or notification. The emergency responders then simply record an emergency message and submit the job.
